Whiteley Waxwings 18th Feb 2017

Decided to go to Whiteley with my mate John after the Waxwings, they had been there all week in the shopping centre next to M&S and we hoped they were still there. Got in the car park at 8:45 with people already there taking pictures. Below are a few pictures early ones were poor light (excuses) but pleased none the less and great to see such a wonderful looking bird for the first time.img_9777img_9799img_9800img_9808img_9828img_9835On this last image you can see the red feathers that gave the bird the name, apparently because it looks like sealing wax hence the name.
