Popped Down to the new forest for a Quick look at the Mandarin Ducks then of to Dorset for the Sand Lizards and here are the results. Will put the Moth trap out again this week and see what turns up now its turned milder again.

      And thanks for your comments, where we saw the Sand Lizards is Higher Hyde Heath Nature Reserve in Dorset around the corner from Bovington Tank Museum, The mating colours are over now so best next year, not sure where you are based but it is a large heathland site and we also found Adder/grass snakes and Common lizards, I will have to keep my eyes open for the new species of Grass snake in the news yesterday.
